Breakfast Scones
Add brown sugar, cinnamon, grated cheese, bacon, ham to this basic recipe  

2 cups flour
4 tablespoons butter or shortening
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup milk           
            
                   
            
             
           




Shape batter into biscuit form (about 1/2 inch thick) and cook at 350 for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
