Easy Honey-Maple Vanilla Ham
Nice with mashed potatos or Mac and cheese. Kids and adults alike love this sweetened ham dish; super easy to prepare.  

1 kg ham, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
2 tablespoons lemon juice           
1 tablespoons Vanilla (optional)            
                   
            
             
           




Rinse, peel and slice the cooked ham and portion into a baking pan. Add proportional amount of sugar/syrup and butter to each pan.Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon vanilla per pound of ham. Heat, uncovered at 350 for about 40 minutes. Remove cover and heat on "broil or high" until sauce is boiling furiously for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let stand uncovered for 5 minutes. 

  

Double recipe; 1/2 ingredients if for one meal.
